In desperate need of new bands and fresh tunes? Allow us to introduce your new favourite band.
Who: Old friends but new band on the scene Orders.
What to say: The quartet released their debut single Sound of the Sunrise only last summer but are already on their third release Little E.
You released your debut single ‘Sound of the Sunrise’ in May and now you’re already on your third release with a sold-out headline show under your belt. How does it feel to have so much happen so quickly?
We are over the moon with the response we’ve had from the first two tracks. To be honest just getting over the 1000 mark on Spotify was a milestone enough, and to have Rolling down reach it within a week made us all absolutely buzzing… for now.
What’s the story behind your latest single Little E?
We will be honest, its not about love. Its about a certain band members first festival, where he ‘got into the spirit’ and ‘tried new things’.
You’ve known each other for over 14 years so by this stage you’re most probably reading each other’s minds. How would you describe each other in one word?
Tommy- Jude law (one name).
Ben – Estate agent.
Stan – Flamboyant.
Do you all share the same musical influences or do you all bring something different to the song writing table?
Not at all, we all bring something different to the table. Charlie has the heaviest influences, which he brings through those driving heavy beats that hold it together and Tommy loves old soul and blues records and it just all comes out as funk n roll -as we like to call it.
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Costello Music – The Fratellis (Stan).
Flaming Pie – Paul McCartney (Ben).
What’s Going On – Marvin Gaye (Tommy).
Back In Black – ACDC (Charlie).
