It’s the last Mixtape before Spooky season, and there are already a few treats in store here…

Ed Tattersall – The Good, The Bad and The Dubby (Defoe Remix)

After stripping back GorillazClint Eastwood, Ed Tattersall lets Defoe loose on the track, adding a dub-heavy, atmospheric spin to the cover that keeps on giving.

Kiwi Jr. – Salary Man

Lo-fi, DIY from Toronto with hints of surf rock harmonies and Manchester indie grooves, the strangely charming Salary Man comes ahead of the band’s debut, Football Money.

Young Guv – Caught Lookin’

With guest vocals from Aurora Sheilds, Caught Looking gives a firm nod to the 80s, complete with sax solo and new wave production, and comes ahead of forthcoming album, GUV II.

Junodream – Limiter

Wonderfully grungey stuff from the hotly-tipped London 5-piece. Come for the fuzz, stay for the hypnotic piano.

Charlotte Lawrence – Navy Blue

With Andrew Watt, Ryan Tedder, Ali Tamposi and Charlie Puth on board, this one could only have been a banger. Stripped back for the most part, the track showcases the vulnerable side of Charlotte’s vocal, before becoming a certified, acoustic-led, beat-heavy banger.

Alana Henderson – Anyone

On her most upbeat number to date, Northern Irish artist Alana Henderson declares “you’re invited to all my future plans, not that I’m planning much but I’ve planned enough to know I hold your hand.” Which is equally a lot and not a lot of planning, but certainly very clever songwriting.

Tina Boonstra – Heart, Teeth, Hands

With snarling vocals, feisty lyrics and kicking rhythms, Tina Boonstra delivers an adrenaline-fuelled indie-rock banger with razor sharp edges which takes a dramatic change in direction from previous single Find You.

Ava Lake – Mystery

A pulsating and shimmering dance hit which fans of Robyn should add to their playlists without any hesitation. The single marks the release of the Chicago based singer, songwriter, producer, dancer and painter’s upcoming debut EP The Rise.

Galantis – Holy Water

The duo are showing no signs of slowing down after putting their name to their eighth release this year following collaborations with OneRepublic and Uffie to name a few. Their latest single sparkles with sweetness wrapped up in innocent vocals and zesty club beats.
