The classic debut from the nation’s favourite (and possibly only) animated band receives a soft re-working by Ed Tattersall as he adds an extra layer of melancholia with his haunting vocals.
Ed Tattersall takes a journey through disorientating, one dimensional landscapes in which the unbalanced world created through Damon Albarn’s lyrics springs to life. The unsettled longing for a better future breaks through as splashes of colour are added to an otherwise monochrome world in which living beings are frail, stencilled figures. As the angst builds, Tattersall soon finds many versions of himself are the sole occupiers of this strange wonderland.
