Eight years on, Friendly Fires are still teasing the release of their third album. In the meantime, we’ve given Pala the TRASH Music Podcast once-over.

This week on Track By Track: The TRASH Music Podcast we’re celebrating the eighth birthday of Friendly Fires‘ second album, Pala. It’s also the most recent album the trio have released, but for the best part of the last decade the tropical indie-pop dance-tinged beats have kept us doing everything we can to emulate frontman Ed Macfarlane’s liquid hips.

Join us as we go from Hawaii to Glastonbury, discussing the songwriting, the band’s live performances and some of their most recent offerings.

Ahead of the album (or after) you can listen anywhere.

You can find the episode (and subscribe to Track By Track) on Apple Podcasts, or stream on Spotify or Acastor TuneIn. Let us know your thoughts @MoveToTrashUK #TrackByTrack, and don’t forget to subscribe so you never miss an episode.
