They’re more used to headlining huge festivals nowadays or selling out arenas, rather than playing the smaller, darker venues of London (although, to some, O2 Academy Brixton is the pinnacle of London venues and rightfully so – lovely slope for viewing). Last week, however, Kasabian made their return, following a summer of European festivals, as well as topping the bill at Isle Of Wight’s 50th birthday celebrations.
For Crying Out Loud, their 6th album released to acclaim last year, provided the majority of the setlist, however there were smatterings from the rest, with a focus on their self-titled debut, ensuring that whether fans were there from the off or jumped on board as the band became a phenomena, they were in for a treat.
